One engine · and what it makes
First we needed to create the foundation, and the infrastructure to run it. Decabox is that: a foundry, a deliberation machine, a validator. The system that runs it is called the Oracle.
We started with the basics: research, and harness building. Then a new language, written from nothing, because everything we could have built on was made to run fast rather than to be checkable. Then we needed an operating system designed to live inside that language, so that a decision is recorded as it happens instead of audited after the fact.
The Oracle is the system that runs within the Decabox engine. It puts models from different families on the same question and makes them argue from within our harness. This results in a rich and powerful engine. Everything below is that engine, aimed at different problems.
FW.01 · The portfolio
Every deliverable starts within the Decabox foundry. We then give it its own scope to grow, with its own customers, and its own character. What they share is the foundation underneath them.
The matrix that powers every venture here. Instead of one model's single-shot answer, a fleet of specialist minds argue, cross-examine and verify a question, then hand back an auditable decision record with explicit uncertainty. Method, not model.
Independent checking, on two paths. After the fact: we attack your AI's outputs with multiple model families, none of which built your system, and send back an evidence report with the full receipt trail, the kind a conformity file, procurement review or insurer asks for. Before you publish: Facts Or Fibs? clears every checkable claim in your advertising copy as passed, held, or flagged for a person, each with a dated receipt.
Direct access to the engine: not one model answering, but several independent ones arguing, cross-examining and voting, with the disagreement kept rather than smoothed away. Available live or by API. You get the verdict, the dissent, and the record of how it was reached.
Software that builds software. You describe the thing you need; parallel build lanes write it, test it, and score it against a certification bar before anything is handed back. Whole working applications, not snippets, with the evidence of what was checked.
A whole toolkit for business management: accounts books that fill in your tax return, an invoice matcher, a freight auditor, an expense auditor, and more. Each does one job, with no setup.
Plain-English written reviews of landing pages, pitches, and sales pages, written for the people actually selling online. Clear, specific, no jargon.
A London-based British actor, presenter and voice over artist, with a quarter-century in front of the camera and the microphone and the other 20 sat behind a computer programming. Feature films with Edgar Wright, Ron Howard and Kenneth Branagh; the voice of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda and extensive software development and media production also under his belt.
Where the methods and tools are built and pressure-tested before they become brands. It is where the Oracle's verification work took shape, and where the system that produced the Bizkits toolkit was forged. There is always something on the bench.
FW.02 · The foundation
The solutions above are different. What holds them up is not. Every one of them runs on the same foundation, and the foundation is the part that took the longest to get right, because it is the part nobody sees.
A language written from nothing, and an operating system made to live inside it. Not a checking layer bolted onto something that was never meant to be inspected.
We fix what counts as passing before anything is run, then publish what happened. Including the runs that missed.
When the models split we do not average them into one confident answer. The dissent stays in the record, and a person decides.
We move slowly and with care. A venture only earns its place when it is genuinely ready.

The Foundworks is a one-founder foundry. Every venture on this page is designed, built and held by the same hands, and face!

Stewart founded The Foundworks in 2026 to build and hold small, single-purpose ventures on one shared foundation: the engine, tools and services above. He is the sole director of The Foundworks Ltd (registered in England & Wales, no. 17295591), and brings a quarter-century of work in performance, voice and storytelling to the foundry's media bench.
